Terms used within American roulette game process
Inside Bets
1. Straight Bet: is a bet which is made on one number, including 0. Chips are placed on a single number. Payment: 35:1 ratio.
2. Split Bet: In this case the chips are placed on an ambit dividing two numbers. Payment is made proceeding from a 17:1 ratio.
3. Street Bet: Chips are placed on a line, is strict opposite to three chosen numbers. Payment occurs upon calculation: 11 to 1
4. Corner Bet — the bet simultaneously on four numbers. Chips have to be placed on the crossing of the lines dividing four next numbers. Payment is made upon calculation: 8 to 1.
5. Line Bet — the bet on six numbers simultaneously. Counters are located in a line, opposite to the six chosen numbers. Payment is made upon calculation: 5 to 1.
External rates (Outside Bets)
1. Column Bet — the simultaneous bet on twelve numbers. Chips are located on the «2 to 1» fields. Payment: in a 2:1 ratio.
2. Dozen Bet — the Simultaneous bet on twelve numbers. In the bottom part of the game field the cells noted by a principle «1st 12» (1st dozen, numbers from 1 to 12), «2nd 12» (2nd dozen, numbers from 13 to 24) and «3rd 12» (3rd dozen, numbers from 25 to 36) settle down. The bet is made when chops are placed on the chosen dozen’s cell. Payment: it is made from a 2:1 ratio.
3. Even Money:
Red/black — chips are placed in the field which is marked red or black color.
Even/odd — chips are placed on «Even» and «Odd» field.
Big/small — the bet is made on 18 numbers at once, except 0 (half of game field). Chips are placed on the field «1 to 18» or «19 to 36». Payment: 1 to 1.
4. Five Number Bet — the bet is made on the numbers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3. Chops are placed on the crossing lines which divide these five numbers. Payment: it is made from a 6:1 ratio.
